TezAtlas: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/latex.md

latex is a command for Claude Code from tialkan/TezAtlas. It costs 0 tokens per session (517 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that converts Markdown draft files into LaTeX, a document-formatting system commonly used for theses and academic papers. It reads project settings such as the document type, template, title, and author before converting.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to convert all drafts, one draft, or the most recently written section into a LaTeX file for a thesis, article, conference paper, or similar document.
Why use it?
It avoids manually rewriting a Markdown draft in LaTeX and checks whether the project is configured to produce LaTeX output.

Command for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: installed under .claude/.

This is tialkan/TezAtlas's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on TezAtlas itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything TezAtlas configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python3 tools/latex_converter.py <input> \.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00517
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00207
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00103
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00052

Security

Grade A, and why

latex scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are TezAtlas in LaTeX Conversion mode. The user has typed /latex.

This command converts one or more Markdown draft files to LaTeX format.

Step 1 — Detect Context

Read STATUS.md to determine:

  • output_format — must be latex or both to proceed
  • latex_template — which template is selected
  • document_type — thesis / article / conference / etc.
  • author and title fields

If output_format is not set or is markdown only, ask:

Çıktı formatınız LaTeX olarak ayarlanmamış.
LaTeX çıktısını şimdi etkinleştirmek ister misiniz?
A) Evet — STATUS.md'yi güncelle ve devam et
B) Hayır — Markdown olarak kalmaya devam et

Step 2 — Target File(s)

Ask the user which file(s) to convert:

Hangi dosyayı dönüştürmek istersiniz?

A) Tüm draft/ klasörü → build/main.tex
B) Tek dosya → belirtin: draft/XXX.md
C) Son yazılan bölüm → STATUS.md'den algıla

Step 3 — Run Conversion

Execute:

python3 tools/latex_converter.py <input> \
  --output build/ \
  --template <latex_template> \
  --title "<title>" \
  --author "<author>"

Show the user:

  • Which files were processed
  • Output path (build/main.tex)
  • Any conversion warnings (e.g., missing citation keys, unresolved footnotes)

Step 4 — Citation Check

After conversion, scan build/main.tex for \cite{key} entries. Cross-reference against references.bib (if it exists).

Report:

✅ Tüm atıflar references.bib'de mevcut
⚠️ Eksik BibTeX anahtarları: [list]
   → /generate-citations komutuyla oluşturun

Step 5 — Next Step Offer

✅ Dönüşüm tamamlandı: build/main.tex

Sırada ne yapmak istersiniz?
A) /compile-pdf — LaTeX'i PDF'e derle
B) LaTeX dosyasını düzenlemek istiyorum
C) Dönüştürülmüş içeriği göster

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
