cce

cce is a command for Claude Code from Vanyangyang/cursor-bridge. It costs 20 tokens per session (227 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for choosing whether Cursor Context Engine, a local service that supplies coding context, uses the Cursor command-line tool or the Cursor editor source. It can show the current choice or save a new one.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use `/cce cli` or `/cce ide` to select a source, and `/cce` to display the current source and its local settings file.
Why use it?
It avoids changing the source manually and keeps the selected source across restarts and updates. It changes the routing preference without starting a context query.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.00227
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00091
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00045
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00023

Measured 5d ago against content hash 790652a9c47e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

cce scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Manage Cursor Context Engine's local source preference. User argument: $ARGUMENTS.

For exactly cli, call cursor_cce with {"action":"set","source":"cli"}. For exactly ide, call cursor_cce with {"action":"set","source":"ide"}. Without an argument, call cursor_cce with {"action":"show"}. For any other argument, explain /cce cli, /cce ide and /cce without modifying the preference.

Report cceSource and the local cceSourceFile in the user's language. The saved choice survives restarts and plugin updates, applies to later CCE queries, and keeps CCE's existing model/effort and evidence contract. Do not submit a query or change native Cursor settings. If the tool is unavailable, report that Bridge must be updated/reloaded instead of claiming the switch succeeded.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
