pm-discover

pm-discover is a command for coding agents from wei63w/pm-manager. It costs 19 tokens per session (336 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An internal deep-scan module used by the broader /pm-all command to inspect enabled project modules and refresh their technical records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it indirectly through /pm-all to generate architecture diagrams and maps, inspect enabled modules, refresh reviews and tasks, and rebuild the project dashboard.
Why use it?
It combines architecture, evidence, review, and project-status checks while avoiding duplicate scan results and preserving incremental updates.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00019 $0.00336
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00168
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00067
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00034

Security

Grade A, and why

pm-discover scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

User Input

$ARGUMENTS

Outline

Internal only. If the user typed /pm-discover, say:深潜已并入 /pm-all(默认技术扫描),请改用 /pm-all。然后执行与 /pm-all 相同的技术扫描。

  1. Require init. For each enabled module, perform on-demand technical scan. Charter compare only when charter.status=approved and --compare-baseline.
  2. For architecture: run pm arch so .pm/architecture/ gets Mermaid + map.json.
  3. Incremental merge; suppress duplicate evidence hashes.
  4. Reviews: require reasoning + snippet; no local diff → say nothing to review. Load engineering/rules.md. P0 interrupts. Dedicated pass: /pm-review.
  5. Refresh state overview/todo (all blocking+high, no 3-item cap).
  6. Rebuild .pm/dashboard/ with pm dashboard.
  7. Keep chat brief unless --verbose. Do not treat V1.1 checkup/hooks/test-assist as required.
  8. Closing: _closing.md 完整档。

Shared Workflow

Same as /pm-all. Map-first. Redact. No auto-write of app code.

Design baseline: docs/prd.md + 宪章。

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
