agy-preflight

agy-preflight is a command for coding agents from xiaolai/cc-suite. It costs 18 tokens per session (358 once invoked), scanned C, original, ISC.

A diagnostic command for Antigravity CLI, a Google terminal tool for coding agents. It checks whether the tool is installed and authenticated, which models are available, and whether its MCP bridges are registered.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to verify the CLI version, default model, available models, workspace MCP connection, and reverse Claude connection.
Why use it?
It identifies setup or connection problems before work is delegated to Antigravity.

Command

Installs and runs on its own, but its text points at files inside its plugin — anything it tells you to read at a ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} path is only there once the plugin is installed. Installing the plugin gets both.

Part of the cc-suite plugin — 13 skills, 39 commands, 6 agents, 3 hooks shipped together

Install

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00018 $0.00358
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00179
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00072
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00036

Measured 4d ago against content hash 07a83d3c41af, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade C, and why

agy-preflight scanned grade C with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

What it actually says

Antigravity (agy) Preflight

Check the supported Google terminal backend: Antigravity CLI (agy). This is separate from /cc-suite:codex-preflight (Codex) and /cc-suite:grok-preflight (Grok Build).

Step 1: Run the preflight script

bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/agy-preflight.sh"

Parse the JSON output from stdout. The probe is deadline-bounded and does not fall back to the deprecated consumer Gemini CLI.

Step 2: Display results

## Antigravity CLI Preflight Results

**Backend**: {backend}
**Status**: {status}
**agy version**: {agy_version}
**Default model**: {default_model}
**Workspace MCP bridge**: {workspace_mcp_registered}
**Claude reverse bridge**: {claude_mcp_registered}

### Available Models

{models, one per row}

Step 3: Handle errors

  • agy_not_found → install with: curl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash
  • agy_not_authenticated → run agy interactively and complete Google sign-in
  • agy_probe_timeout → check network/authentication, then retry
  • Empty models → do not continue with an agy delegation; run agy interactively

Do not silently substitute gemini. Enterprise users who intentionally retain Gemini CLI should use that tool directly; cc-suite's project bridge targets agy.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

agy-preflight is a command published in the GitHub repository xiaolai/cc-suite (44 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed ISC. It adds 18 tokens to every session and 358 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it C with 2 findings (downloads and executes remote code, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
