Instructions for running grok-hud as a live display in another terminal pane or in a tmux status bar. It reads Grok session information while the session is running.

Use it to watch one or all sessions, choose an update interval, or add a compact readout to tmux.

It keeps session usage visible without occupying the Grok terminal or blocking the current session.

What to do

Ensure CLI is built (/grok-hud:setup if needed).
Give the user a ready-to-paste command for a second terminal pane:

Do not start a long-running watch that blocks this Grok session unless the user explicitly asks. Prefer printing the command.
If the user explicitly wants you to start watch in the background for them, run:
