code-conductor: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/cc-metrics.md

cc-metrics is a command for Claude Code from yeisonrestrepo/code-conductor. It costs 16 tokens per session (287 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A report command that reads local Claude Code session logs and shows token and time usage for a project. It also prints recommendations based on the reported figures.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review how much time and model context a coding session used.
Why use it?
It makes session cost and time usage visible without requiring you to inspect log files manually. It does not modify the logs or install a background hook.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00016 $0.00287
Opus 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00115
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00057
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00029

Security

Grade A, and why

cc-metrics scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Read-only. This command reads Claude Code's local session logs for this project and prints one compact report. It registers no hook and writes no file.

Step 1 — Run the reader

Resolve the reader by presence, the deployed copy first, and run it once:

M=.claude/scripts/session-metrics.mjs; [ -f "$M" ] || M=scripts/session-metrics.mjs; node "$M" '$ARGUMENTS'

If neither file exists, output "cc-metrics: reader not found. Run the installer with --project." and stop.

Step 2 — Relay the report

Output the reader's stdout verbatim, inside one code block. Do not open, grep or summarize the log files yourself: the report already holds every number, and reading the logs would spend the tokens this command measures.

Every recommendation line quotes the number it rests on. Values labelled est are estimates (characters / 4). A line starting cc-metrics: no session logs at or cc-metrics: failed: is the whole report: relay it and stop. From a git worktree, the project's logs live under the main checkout's directory; pass it with --dir.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

cc-metrics is a command published in the GitHub repository yeisonrestrepo/code-conductor (17 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 16 tokens to every session and 287 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-28.
