moc

moc is a command for coding agents from YoungjaeDev/my-claude-plugins. It costs 38 tokens per session (1,142 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that scans a documentation folder and creates a Map of Content, an index with a short description for each file and optional groups by topic. It can write a lightweight index or a stricter wiki-style version.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build or refresh a docs index, group related Markdown files, and create cross-reference scaffolding in strict wiki mode.
Why use it?
It makes a large documentation folder easier to navigate without overwriting protected README or index files. Options control the output location, grouping depth, and language.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00038 $0.01142
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00571
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00228
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00114

Security

Grade A, and why

moc scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

MOC Command

Generate a Map of Content (MOC) index for a docs folder: a one-line hook per file plus per-domain tables. Lightweight generic mode by default; --strict switches to the llm-wiki-style index. The hook-sourcing and conflict rules live in the moc-guide skill (cross-runtime SSOT); this command orchestrates the scan and write.

Arguments

  • folder - Scan root. Default docs/.

Options

  • --strict - Wiki style (domain groups, [[id]], typed cross-ref scaffolding). Default OFF (lightweight).
  • --out FILE - Output path. Default <folder>/MOC.md. If the basename case-insensitively matches readme.md or index.md, refuse (or confirm, then route to MOC.md) — never clobber a protected entry document (case-insensitive filesystems alias INDEX.md to index.md).
  • --depth N - Domain-group depth. Default 2.
  • --lang ko|en - Output language. Default ko.

Instructions

  1. Load the moc-guide Skill — its ## Quick Reference is the binding output spec (hook precedence, lightweight vs strict, conflict rules).
  2. Glob folder/**/*.md. Exclude the output file itself and any existing index.md / README.md in scope (conflict guard — never overwrite those). The same guard applies to the output target: if --out's basename case-insensitively matches readme.md / index.md, refuse or confirm-then-route to MOC.md rather than writing over it.
  3. Detect domains: each first-level subdirectory of folder is a domain (## group); root-level files go under ## (root). Respect --depth. Only when the folder is flat (no subdirectories) AND --strict is set, ask the user how to group.
  4. Compute a one-line hook per file using the precedence ladder (first hit wins):
    1. frontmatter description: / summary:
    2. first non-empty paragraph after the first # H1 (truncate ~100-120 chars)
    3. first ## subheading text
    4. fallback: humanized filename + hook = (요약 없음) flag Link text = frontmatter title: -> first # H1 -> filename. In strict mode, prefer [[id]] when frontmatter id exists.
  5. Lightweight only — build Output 1 (per-file hook bullets) and Output 2 (per-domain MOC table) into the single output file. Do not fan out per-file hook files. Skip this step entirely in --strict mode (Step 6 produces the sole strict output — do not also emit the lightweight bullets, or the file list duplicates).
  6. If --strict: produce ONLY the strict format (intro paragraph + typed-cross-ref legend + per-domain llm-wiki bullets), in place of Output 1/2. Read optional frontmatter (id / title / summary) where present and add typed cross-ref scaffolding. Do NOT enforce the llm-wiki frontmatter/staleness schema — a frontmatter-less plain-Markdown folder must not produce failures. Lightweight mode (no --strict) uses Step 5 only and omits all wiki machinery (no frontmatter reads, no [[id]], no typed cross-refs).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

moc is a command published in the GitHub repository YoungjaeDev/my-claude-plugins (2 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 38 tokens to every session and 1,142 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
