gsd:plan-phase

gsd:plan-phase is a command for Claude Code from YousefNabil-SOC/claude-apex. It costs 17 tokens per session (428 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of gsd:plan-phase, MIT.

A planning command that creates a detailed plan for one project phase, a defined stage of work. It can research the topic, check the plan, and revise it until verification passes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan a phase, optionally research first, use a requirements document, close verification gaps, or skip selected research and checking steps.
Why use it?
It turns a broad roadmap phase into an actionable plan with requirements and checks before implementation begins.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00017 $0.00428
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00214
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00086
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

gsd:plan-phase scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Origin

This is a copy

100% identical to gsd:plan-phase — 29 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.

What it actually says

Default flow: Research (if needed) → Plan → Verify → Done

Orchestrator role: Parse arguments, validate phase, research domain (unless skipped), spawn gsd-planner, verify with gsd-plan-checker, iterate until pass or max iterations, present results.

<execution_context> @/.claude/get-shit-done/workflows/plan-phase.md @/.claude/get-shit-done/references/ui-brand.md </execution_context>

Flags:

  • --research — Force re-research even if RESEARCH.md exists
  • --skip-research — Skip research, go straight to planning
  • --gaps — Gap closure mode (reads VERIFICATION.md, skips research)
  • --skip-verify — Skip verification loop
  • --prd <file> — Use a PRD/acceptance criteria file instead of discuss-phase. Parses requirements into CONTEXT.md automatically. Skips discuss-phase entirely.

Normalize phase input in step 2 before any directory lookups.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
