cm-sync

cm-sync is a command for Claude Code from Zenetusken/consolidate-memory. It costs 29 tokens per session (268 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for synchronising shared memory between enrolled projects. It can list relevant shared facts, pull missing or stale copies, and harvest usage records into a shared ledger.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect shared facts, refresh project memory, collect usage data, and report newly pulled, refreshed, or held items.
Why use it?
It shows what would change before synchronising and avoids pulling data into projects that are not enrolled or exceeding the memory index limit.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00268
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00107
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00027

Security

Grade A, and why

cm-sync scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

One-shot absorption of the shared layer — the sync half of a dream's Phase 1, without the consolidation pass. An unenrolled project is local-only and --pull is a no-op by design: say so honestly and point at /cm-domain.

python3 "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sync_global.py" --list .
python3 "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sync_global.py" --pull .
python3 "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/sync_global.py" --harvest .

Run --list first (read-only) and report which globals are relevant + missing/stale BEFORE pulling. --pull replicates missing mirrors and refreshes stale ones, and auto-holds any pull that would push the always-loaded index past the hard ceiling — report held N honestly (shrinking the index is the only way to receive those). --harvest captures every node's organic usage windows into the shared ledger (idempotent). Summarize the plain diff: pulled N new · refreshed M · held H.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
