What is Notification?

A hook configuration that runs a shell script when the coding agent shows an idle or permission prompt notification. A hook is an automated action triggered by a specific agent event.

Use it to run notification behavior for idle prompts and permission prompts in the agent environment.

It can provide external status updates when the agent is waiting for input or permission. The supplied configuration connects those events to the plugin's notification script.
