An automatic check that runs after the coding agent writes or edits a file, including notebook edits. It executes a shell script called post-check.sh.

Use it to trigger post-change validation after Write, Edit, or NotebookEdit operations. It is configured as a Claude Code PostToolUse hook and allows up to five seconds for the check.

It helps run project-specific checks immediately after changes are made, reducing the chance that an edit is left unchecked. The exact checks depend on that script.
