omnigraph: Hook for Claude Code

.claude/settings.json

SessionStart is a hook for Claude Code from ModernRelay/omnigraph. Its token cost is not measured, scanned A, original, MIT.

A startup hook that runs the seed-target.sh shell script when a coding session begins. It changes into the project directory before running the script.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for preparing the target project at session startup.
Why use it?
It makes the session's initial project seeding automatic rather than relying on a developer or agent to remember the setup command.

Hook for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: $CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR variable.

This is ModernRelay/omnigraph's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on omnigraph itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything omnigraph configures →

One of 2 entries in settings.json upstream. Installing this one merges just its entry into your config; the other 1 are separate, each on its own page.

About the project

Omnigraph is a graph database that stores operational context and coordination data in a lakehouse, combining graph traversal, vector search, and full-text search. It is designed for fleets of software agents that enrich shared knowledge on separate branches and merge reviewed changes; the catalogue add-ons help agents operate and coordinate through Omnigraph.

Security

Grade A, and why

SessionStart scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the commands this hook runs, not an audit. A hook is shell that executes on your machine at the event it names, which is why every command in it is printed with what was found.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
