Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00518 | $0.00518 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00207 | $0.00207 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00104 | $0.00104 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00052 | $0.00052 |
Grade A, and why
mealie-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 25d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 49 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AI Agent Instructions
These instructions are intended for AI tools and agents working on this repository.
Before you start: look at the open pull requests
List the open pull requests and check whether one already touches the file or symbol you are about to change. If it does, work on something else.
Several agents run against this repository independently and cannot see each other's work, so they converge on the same target often. One review across these repositories found three byte-identical pull requests renaming a single import, three separate attempts at splitting one function, and three sets of tests for one endpoint — eleven of the thirty rejected pull requests were duplicates of another open one.
.github/workflows/overlapping-pr-check.yml comments on a pull request when
another open one edits the same files. It does not block anything; overlap is
normal on a busy branch. Treat it as a prompt to check whether the two are doing
the same work, and to close the weaker one before both reach review.
Reporting "no change needed"
Finding that a task needs no code change is a complete result. Report it and stop. Do not open a pull request, and do not add an unrelated edit so that a pull request has something to carry.
This used to be enforced the other way round. A CI gate (empty-commit-check)
failed any branch whose diff was empty. It did stop empty pull requests, and it
started a worse habit: agents began manufacturing a change to get the gate
green. One wrote the tactic into its own journal — "apply a completely safe,
trivial code health cleanup ... to satisfy the CI file modification
requirement" — directly beneath an older entry telling the same agent not to
introduce unnecessary modifications.
The filler was not always safe. Across one review of the open pull requests in these repositories it suppressed worker error reporting in production builds, made a failed upload report the wrong reason, and moved a content-type check to after the response had been buffered into memory.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mealie-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository 2fst4u/mealie-mcp (4 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 518 tokens to every session, about $0.0021 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-26.
