valmera-mcp: Instructions file for Gemini CLI

GEMINI.md

valmera-mcp GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from ABO3SKRALMASAOODI/valmera-mcp. It costs 281 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Instructions for using Valmera, a hosted AI video editor, through Gemini CLI. It describes how to upload footage, inspect it, make edits, preview the result, and export an MP4 file.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to guide cuts, silence and filler removal, captions, reframing, music, and short-video creation. It also covers previews, verification, and final-file export.
Why use it?
It gives the agent a defined order for editing uploaded footage and checking the result before delivery. It also clarifies that Valmera edits existing video rather than creating a complete video from text.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00281 $0.00281
Opus 5.5 $0.00112 $0.00112
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00056 $0.00056
Haiku 4.5 $0.00028 $0.00028

Security

Grade A, and why

valmera-mcp GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Valmera video editing

You have the Valmera MCP server, a hosted AI video editor for footage the user uploads to https://valmera.io.

  • Start with list_projects. Upload with upload_start/upload_finish or ask the user to upload in Studio, then wait for index_status to report done.
  • Read before you edit: get_transcript, get_words, find_silences, get_shots, look_at.
  • Edit with focused tools (cut_silences, remove_filler_words, add_captions, auto_reframe, add_music, make_shorts, ...). Every edit is a new, restorable version.
  • render_preview, then wait_for_job, then watch_video or look_at with rendered=true. Verify the result before you report.
  • When the user approves and asks for the file: export_final, then wait_for_job, then download_url with kind="final".
  • Valmera edits existing footage. It doesn't generate whole videos from text, and captions are burned in (no SRT). Editing requires a subscription.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
