Claude Code Plugins Repository

A collection of Claude Code plugins. Schema validation is delegated to Claude Code itself via claude plugin validate — there is no in-repo validation infrastructure.

Plugins: See red-agent/CLAUDE.md and context-engineering/CLAUDE.md for plugin-specific documentation.

Critical Rules

1. Validate Plugins Before Commit

claude plugin validate ./red-agent
claude plugin validate ./context-engineering
claude plugin validate .

Why: Claude Code's runtime validator is the authoritative check. Run it before pushing to avoid CI noise.

2. Run Pre-commit Before Suggesting Completion

uv run pre-commit run --all-files

Why: Pre-commit catches ruff violations, JSON errors, and npm integrity issues.

3. Never Commit Without Verification

Before any commit:

1. Run claude plugin validate on the modified plugin
2. Run pre-commit (fixes auto-fixable issues)
3. Stage only intended files

Development Workflow

Setup

# Install dependencies (creates .venv automatically)
uv sync --all-extras

# Verify setup
uv run pre-commit run --all-files

Git Workflow

This repo uses feature branches. Main branch is protected.

# Create feature branch
git checkout -b feature/description

# Make changes, run validation, then commit
git add <files>
git commit -m "feat(plugin): description"

# Push and create PR
git push -u origin feature/description
gh pr create --title "Title" --body "Description"

# Wait for CI to pass
gh pr checks --watch

After Creating/Updating PR - ALWAYS Verify CI:

gh pr checks --watch       # Watch CI in real-time
gh pr checks               # Check status
gh pr checks --web         # Open Actions page in browser

CRITICAL: Never consider a PR "complete" until CI passes.

Conventional Commit Types:

• feat(plugin): New features, new agents, architectural improvements
• fix(plugin): Bug fixes
• refactor(plugin): Code restructuring without behavior change
• docs(plugin): README/changelog updates only
• chore(plugin): Dependency updates, config changes
