Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00482 | $0.00482 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00241 | $0.00241 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00096 | $0.00096 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00048 | $0.00048 |
Grade A, and why
skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 53 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
This file provides guidance to agents when working with code in this repository.
Repository Purpose
This is a personal library of skills — installable prompt extensions that give agent new capabilities. Each skill is a SKILL.md file containing a frontmatter block and a detailed instruction body.
Structure
skills/
<category>/
<skill-name>/
SKILL.md
Current categories: aigc, engineering, health, productivity
Skill Format
Every SKILL.md must start with a YAML frontmatter block:
---
name: <kebab-case-slug>
description: >
One or more sentences describing what the skill does and when it triggers.
Include explicit TRIGGER conditions (keywords, user intents) and DO NOT TRIGGER
conditions to help the model route correctly.
---
The body after the frontmatter is the full instruction set the model will follow when the skill is invoked.
Skill Reference Maintenance
Whenever adding or modifying a skill, update both reference lists that expose the skill:
- Root
README.md - Category README at
skills/{category_name}/README.md
Keep each reference's link, name, and short description aligned with the skill's current behavior.
Key Design Patterns (from existing skills)
- Multi-agent orchestration: Skills can spawn parallel subagents via the
Agenttool. The main agent coordinates; subagents each inhabit a separate branch/task and report back. - Trigger conditions: The
descriptionfield doubles as routing logic — be explicit about what user messages should and shouldn't activate the skill. - Memory integration: Skills that produce persistent outputs write to the project memory directory (
/Users/danielwalnut/.claude/projects/*/memory/) using the standard frontmatter format and updateMEMORY.md. - Mode switching: Complex skills define multiple modes (e.g., SIMULATE / RECALL / MANAGE) with explicit command words that switch between them.
Installing a Skill
Skills in this repo are meant to be symlinked or copied into ~/.claude/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md and ~/.agents/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md so the Claude Code and other agents can discover and load them.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository agentara/skills (452 stars, last pushed 17d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 482 tokens to every session, about $0.0024 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
