Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01510 $0.01510
Opus 5 $0.00755 $0.00755
Sonnet 5 $0.00302 $0.00302
Haiku 4.5 $0.00151 $0.00151

Security

Grade A, and why

corbis-literature-starter-kit CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Corbis Literature Starter Kit

A lightweight toolkit for exploring academic literature, brainstorming research ideas, and managing citations. Powered by Corbis MCP for literature search across 400,000+ academic papers.

Skill routing

Before responding to any research-related prompt, check whether a skill applies.

User is asking about... Use skill
Survey a topic, write a literature review literature-review
Position a paper, find closest work, contribution literature-positioning-map
Brainstorm research ideas from a topic area research-idea-generator
Screen or score a specific research idea finance-idea-screening
Verify citations in a .bib file verify-citations
Visualize literature trends, gaps, methods literature-landscape

Corbis tool usage

Always search before asserting. Do not guess about novelty, literature, or data availability when you can check.

Available tools:

  • search_papers, get_paper_details, get_paper_details_batch, top_cited_articles -- literature search
  • export_citations, format_citation -- citation management
  • search_datasets -- data discovery (for idea screening)
  • fred_search, fred_series_batch -- macro data context
  • get_market_data, compare_markets, search_markets, get_market_trends -- CRE market intelligence

Key principles:

  • Use search_papers before claiming any idea is novel
  • Use compact: true on search_papers when you only need titles and metadata (saves ~80% payload)
  • Use sortBy: "citedByCount" to find the most influential papers on a topic
  • Use get_paper_details_batch (up to 25 IDs) instead of repeated get_paper_details calls
  • Use top_cited_articles with the query parameter to find highly cited papers on a specific topic within journals
  • Use export_citations (format: bibtex) to generate bibliography entries

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
