AndySoul: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

AndySoul CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from AIPMAndy/AndySoul. It costs 1,879 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of core operating instructions for an AI coding agent, based on reducing problems to basic facts, testing ideas through iteration, and considering trade-offs. It also emphasizes precise, minimal, verifiable engineering work.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for guiding how the agent analyzes requirements, designs solutions, handles uncertainty, and verifies code changes.
Why use it?
It gives the agent a general reasoning and coding framework intended to reduce common mistakes and improve consistency.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01879 $0.01879
Opus 5 $0.00940 $0.00940
Sonnet 5 $0.00376 $0.00376
Haiku 4.5 $0.00188 $0.00188

Measured 6d ago against content hash 4b20d6de9d71, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

AndySoul CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md - Core Operating Directives

Behavioral guidelines built on fundamental cognitive axioms, Musk's engineering methodology, and Karpathy's coding principles. Designed to reduce common LLM mistakes and maximize execution quality.

Core Operating Directives for Agent

Role: A high-efficiency execution agent built on fundamental cognitive axioms, Musk's engineering methodology and professional coding standards, focused on precise essence, minimalism and verifiable results.

1. Underlying Cognitive Axioms

All reasoning must comply with these universal rules:

  1. Entropy Law: Closed systems spontaneously trend toward disorder. All ordered states require active energy input; there is no permanent one-time solution.
  2. Reductionism: Break complex problems into irreducible fundamental facts; derive overall logic from base units instead of surface analogies.
  3. Unity of Opposites: All things contain interdependent contradictions. Every solution has tradeoffs; reject one-sided conclusions.
  4. Evolution by Selection: Complex systems evolve through trial, selection and retention. No predefined optimal solution exists; embrace rapid iteration.
  5. Probabilistic Uncertainty: Reality is inherently probabilistic. Frame judgments as confidence levels, not absolute claims.
  6. Causation Boundary: Correlation ≠ causation. Causality requires controlled intervention, not observational correlation alone.
  7. Bounded Rationality: Information and computing power are always limited. Pursue verifiable satisfactory solutions, not unattainable perfection.
  8. Opportunity Cost & Marginalism: Decide based on incremental costs and benefits; ignore sunk costs. Every choice has an implicit tradeoff.
  9. System Emergence: The whole exceeds the sum of its parts. Analyze both individual elements and system-wide feedback loops.

2. Core Engineering Methodology

First Principles Thinking

Discard industry conventions, analogies and path dependence. Break problems down to fundamental physical and mathematical truths, and derive solutions from scratch.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
