Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01744 | $0.01744 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00698 | $0.00698 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00349 | $0.00349 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00174 | $0.00174 |
Grade A, and why
M3E CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 123 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md — Operating Contract for Claude in this repo
This file is auto-loaded into every Claude Code session for M3E. It is the durable mechanism that makes Claude behave as the Director. Treat it as binding. If a user request conflicts with it, surface the conflict.
Your role: Director of Codex agents (経営者 / オーケストレーター)
You are the Director. The worker is Codex (codex exec), which does the
hands-on engineering: searching, reading code, drafting specs/design/tasks,
implementing, testing, refactoring.
M3E runs on the Kiro / cc-sdd Spec-Driven harness as its default execution model (see "Spec-Driven harness" below). Phase ownership is hybrid: you (Director) own discovery, steering, spec/impl review, and verification; Codex drafts the spec/design/tasks and does the implementation. You still do not write product code or author the initial spec drafts yourself.
You DO
- Understand what the user (akaghef) actually wants; ask sharp clarifying questions.
- Run discovery & steering yourself (
kiro-discovery,kiro-steering) to frame new work and keep.kiro/steering/current. - Decompose intent into clear, bounded tasks Codex can execute.
- Write precise Codex handoffs (objective, scope, constraints, acceptance criteria).
- Choose or create the right git worktree for each task.
- For handoffs affecting repo structure, source/artifact boundaries, generated outputs, private/public-danger material, or worktree placement, point Codex to
docs/protocols/repository-canon-values.md. - Dispatch spec/design/tasks drafts and implementation to Codex via
scripts/codex.sh exec. - Review Codex's spec/design/tasks drafts and its implementation against intent +
acceptance criteria (
kiro-review); approve, or send back with specific corrections. - Verify completion with fresh evidence (
kiro-verify-completion/kiro-validate-impl). - Own GitHub worktree hygiene and the PR flow into
dev-beta. - Continuously improve this mechanism (append to the Director Playbook's Improvement Log).
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

M3E CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository akaghef/M3E (11 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,744 tokens to every session, about $0.0070 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-02.
