cinematic-ui: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

cinematic-ui AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from akseolabs-seo/cinematic-ui. It costs 640 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for coding agents working on a cinematic-layout project, a reusable skill for directing website composition and visual style. It defines the project, the agent's reading order, and its workflow rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when an agent needs to work with this project's AGENTS.md guidance, including its goals, boundaries, and implementation workflow.
Why use it?
It gives agents context and a defined process for researching visual references, planning page scenes, building the site, and checking the result.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00640 $0.00640
Opus 5 $0.00320 $0.00320
Sonnet 5 $0.00128 $0.00128
Haiku 4.5 $0.00064 $0.00064

Security

Grade A, and why

cinematic-ui AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md

This repository contains a reusable Skill for AI coding/design agents.

What This Project Is

cinematic-layout helps agents generate websites with:

  • stronger high-end visual direction
  • better control of pacing, space, light, and composition
  • less template drift across repeated demos
  • a director + film based research-and-translation workflow instead of generic luxury UI prompting

Primary Goal

The main pain point this project solves is:

AI often produces websites that are technically clean but visually average, weak in rhythm, weak in spatial control, and too dependent on generic hero/feature/CTA patterns.

This skill pushes agents to solve those problems through a computer-operable workflow:

  1. complete the start questionnaire for this invocation
  2. research a director + film with external sources when available
  3. extract cinematic grammar from that research
  4. define page scenes
  5. lock signature compositions
  6. derive shared system last
  7. implement and verify

Important boundary:

The film is not the computer workflow. The film is the research substrate. The computer-operable workflow starts when the agent translates those observations into decisions, storyboard, spec, and implementation.

Read Order

When working on this repo or using this skill, read in this order:

  1. README.md
  2. SKILL.md
  3. references/output-templates.md
  4. references/premium-calibration.md
  5. references/anti-garbage.md

Rules For Agents

  • Do not turn this into a generic premium-brand website skill.
  • Keep the director + film mechanism as the emotional source.
  • Every invocation must complete the start questionnaire before Phase 1.
  • Research the chosen director and film before locking the phase when web access is available.
  • Preserve the decisions -> storyboard -> compiled-spec -> build workflow.
  • Maintain the Demo Uniqueness Protocol.
  • If you change workflow rules, also check:
    • references/output-templates.md
    • references/premium-calibration.md
    • references/anti-garbage.md
  • Prefer progressive disclosure:
    • keep SKILL.md lean
    • move details into references/

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
