super-claudio-brothers: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

super-claudio-brothers CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from alexconner-79/super-claudio-brothers. It costs 1,669 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Super Claudio Brothers, a single-file Mario-style browser game about how Claude works. They describe the project and an unfinished Supabase leaderboard connection.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying the game or replacing its in-memory leaderboard with a shared Supabase-backed score table.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the context needed to continue work without rediscovering the game's structure and remaining task.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01669 $0.01669
Opus 5 $0.00834 $0.00834
Sonnet 5 $0.00334 $0.00334
Haiku 4.5 $0.00167 $0.00167

Measured 10d ago against content hash e52809d86afb, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

super-claudio-brothers CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Super Claudio Brothers — Claude Code Handoff

What this is

A Claude-themed Mario-style platformer built as a single HTML file. It's a playable metaphor for how Claude actually works: tokens as currency, hallucinations as enemies, context limits as the timer, system prompts as power-ups.

The game is complete and playable. The main outstanding task is replacing the in-memory/artifact leaderboard with a real Supabase-backed global leaderboard.

Project structure

├── CLAUDE.md          ← you are here
├── README.md          ← player-facing docs
├── public/
│   └── index.html     ← the entire game (self-contained, no dependencies)
└── supabase/
    └── schema.sql ← run this in Supabase to set up the scores table

No build step. No bundler. The game is vanilla JS + Canvas 2D in a single HTML file.

The Supabase leaderboard task

What to do

  1. Create a free Supabase project at supabase.com
  2. Run supabase/schema.sql in the Supabase SQL editor
  3. Copy your project URL and anon key
  4. In public/index.html, find the // ── Storage section at the top of the script
  5. Replace the three storage functions (getLeaderboard, saveLeaderboard, submitScore) with Supabase fetch calls (see below)

Current storage functions to replace

// Currently using artifact window.storage — replace these three:
async function getLeaderboard() { ... }
async function saveLeaderboard(lb) { ... }
async function submitScore(initials, score) { ... }

Supabase replacements

const SUPABASE_URL  = 'https://YOUR_PROJECT.supabase.co';
const SUPABASE_ANON = 'YOUR_ANON_KEY';

async function getLeaderboard() {
  const res = await fetch(
    `${SUPABASE_URL}/rest/v1/scores?order=score.desc&limit=10`,
    { headers: { apikey: SUPABASE_ANON, Authorization: `Bearer ${SUPABASE_ANON}` } }
  );
  return res.ok ? await res.json() : [];
}

async function submitScore(initials, score) {
  // Insert the new score
  await fetch(`${SUPABASE_URL}/rest/v1/scores`, {
    method: 'POST',
    headers: {
      apikey: SUPABASE_ANON,
      Authorization: `Bearer ${SUPABASE_ANON}`,
      'Content-Type': 'application/json',
      Prefer: 'return=minimal',
    },
    body: JSON.stringify({ initials: initials.toUpperCase().slice(0,3), score }),
  });

  // Fetch updated top 10
  const top10 = await getLeaderboard();

  // Calculate rank
  const allRes = await fetch(
    `${SUPABASE_URL}/rest/v1/scores?order=score.desc`,
    { headers: { apikey: SUPABASE_ANON, Authorization: `Bearer ${SUPABASE_ANON}` } }
  );
  const all = allRes.ok ? await allRes.json() : [];
  const rank = all.findIndex(e => e.initials === initials.toUpperCase().slice(0,3) && e.score === score) + 1;

  return { rank: rank || all.length, top10 };
}

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
