plan-swarm AGENTS.md

plan-swarm AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from alexio777/plan-swarm. It costs 239 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for plan-swarm, a package of reusable coding-agent skills. They define how to keep the package portable, organized, tested, documented, and versioned.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying plan-swarm, its skills, validation script, translated README files, examples, or version history.
Why use it?
They give contributors consistent rules for editing skill files, tests, translations, examples, and release notes. This reduces changes that work only on one computer or leave documentation out of date.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00239 $0.00239
Opus 5 $0.00120 $0.00120
Sonnet 5 $0.00048 $0.00048
Haiku 4.5 $0.00024 $0.00024

Measured 5d ago against content hash ce564f873f0d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

plan-swarm AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agent notes for this repository

This repo is a skills package. When editing:

  1. Keep skills/plan-swarm/SKILL.md lean; put schema and phase detail in references/.
  2. Description is a trigger — concrete verbs and flags, no monorepo dump.
  3. Stay portable: no host tool IDs (mcp__…), no $ARGUMENTS, no absolute home paths, no private monorepo names in skill bodies.
  4. name in frontmatter must equal the directory name (plan-swarm).
  5. plan_swarm_check.py is stdlib-only — keep it that way (offline tests depend on it).
  6. Bump metadata.version and CHANGELOG.md on user-visible changes.
  7. Do not put installable examples under skills/ — use examples/.
  8. README i18n: edit packs under scripts/i18n_packs/, run python3 scripts/materialize_i18n.py, then python3 scripts/check_i18n_readmes.py. English SoT is root README.md.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
