Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02624 | $0.02624 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01312 | $0.01312 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00525 | $0.00525 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00262 | $0.00262 |
Grade B, and why
mymcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation
A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.

Commands
As of v3 the server is the Go core in go/. The Python package (src/mymcp)
is a recorder-only sidecar; a base install has zero dependencies.
# --- Go core (the server) ---
cd go && go build -o /tmp/mymcp ./cmd/mymcp # build
/tmp/mymcp serve # run (prints temp tokens to stderr)
cd go && go test ./... && go vet ./... && gofmt -l .
# --- Python recorder sidecar + repo tooling ---
# Editable install with dev + recorder deps (dev now includes [recorder] + the
# mcp client for the compat suite). requirements-dev.txt is a pip-compile
# lockfile used as a constraints file; pyproject.toml stays the source of truth.
pip install -e ".[dev]" -c requirements-dev.txt
# Regenerate the lockfile after changing dependencies in pyproject.toml
pip-compile --extra dev --strip-extras \
--unsafe-package algony-mymcp --unsafe-package pip --unsafe-package setuptools \
--output-file requirements-dev.txt pyproject.toml
pytest tests/ -v --benchmark-disable # Python (recorder) tests
ruff check . && ruff format --check . && mypy src/mymcp
mymcp-recorder # run the sidecar (MYMCP_RECORDER_ENABLED=true)
# --- Compat suite (black-box, run against the Go server) ---
cd go && go build -o /tmp/mymcp ./cmd/mymcp
# boot /tmp/mymcp serve with MYMCP_* env, then:
# MYMCP_COMPAT_URL=http://127.0.0.1:PORT ... pytest tests/compat/ -v
# --- Package + upgrade (platform wheel bundles the Go binary AS `mymcp`) ---
python -m build --wheel -n # pure wheel (assembler input)
python scripts/assemble_wheel.py dist/*.whl <go-binary> manylinux2014_x86_64 platform-dist/
pipx upgrade algony-mymcp && sudo systemctl restart mymcp
Architecture
The server is a Go binary (go/, module github.com/algony-tony/mymcp/go)
exposing Linux system tools over MCP Streamable HTTP (stateless) with Bearer
token auth. It ships as a platform wheel where the mymcp command IS the Go
binary (scripts/assemble_wheel.py injects it into <name>.data/scripts/). The
Python package is a recorder-only sidecar — zero base deps; recorder
features need the [recorder] extra; the sidecar entry is mymcp-recorder.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mymcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository algony-tony/mymcp (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 2,624 tokens to every session, about $0.0131 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (asks for root). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
