StellarX-Workshop-Template-2026: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

StellarX-Workshop-Template-2026 CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from ALGOREX-PH/StellarX-Workshop-Template-2026. It costs 724 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for a StellarX workshop starter, a codebase with a web app and a Rust smart contract for the Stellar blockchain. It is organized as a monorepo, meaning one repository contains these related frontend and contract projects.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when building or testing the Next.js frontend, connecting a Stellar wallet, sending testnet payments, or compiling and testing the Soroban contract.
Why use it?
They record the required software versions, test network addresses, and blockchain-specific details that prevent common implementation errors. They also identify the supported network as testnet, a network for experiments rather than real funds.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00724 $0.00724
Opus 5 $0.00362 $0.00362
Sonnet 5 $0.00145 $0.00145
Haiku 4.5 $0.00072 $0.00072

Security

Grade A, and why

StellarX-Workshop-Template-2026 CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

StellarX Workshop Starter — project notes for AI tools

A monorepo scaffold for a StellarX workshop. Two parts:

  • web/ — Next.js 16 + TypeScript + Tailwind v4 frontend (connect Freighter, show balances, send a testnet payment, invoke a Soroban contract).
  • contracts/savings-goal/ — a Rust Soroban contract (init / contribute / get_state) with unit tests.

Stack / versions

  • @stellar/stellar-sdk v15 — use the rpc namespace (NOT the old SorobanRpc).
  • @stellar/freighter-api v6 — signTransaction returns { signedTxXdr, signerAddress }.
  • soroban-sdk 22; build target wasm32v1-none via stellar contract build.
  • Network: testnet only.

Testnet reference

Resource Value
Soroban RPC https://soroban-testnet.stellar.org
Horizon https://horizon-testnet.stellar.org
Friendbot https://friendbot.stellar.org?addr=YOUR_KEY
Network passphrase Test SDF Network ; September 2015
USDC issuer (Circle, testnet) GBBD47IF6LWK7P7MDEVSCWR7DPUWV3NY3DTQEVFL4NAT4AQH3ZLLFLA5
Explorer https://stellar.expert/explorer/testnet

Stellar gotchas (these waste the most time)

  1. Use the rpc namespace, NOT SorobanRpc (v15 SDK).
  2. Always simulate a Soroban tx before sending (server.simulateTransactionrpc.assembleTransaction).
  3. sendTransaction returning PENDING is NOT success — poll getTransaction every 1s for up to 60s.
  4. Network passphrase: use Networks.TESTNET, never a hardcoded string (wrong one → misleading tx_bad_auth).
  5. Freighter: dynamic import only (await import('@stellar/freighter-api')) — static import breaks SSR.
  6. Freighter v6: signTransaction returns an object → read .signedTxXdr.
  7. Wrap Freighter calls with a timeout — they can hang if the extension is missing.
  8. Trustlines are required before an account can receive a non-native asset (e.g. USDC).
  9. Use Soroban RPC for contract calls; use Horizon for balances/history.
  10. Soroban i128 args: pass nativeToScVal(BigInt(x), { type: 'i128' }).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
