SentinelXPrime: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

SentinelXPrime AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from alicankiraz1/SentinelXPrime. It costs 353 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for SentinelXPrime, a security-focused set of coding-agent skills. They define security checkpoints and rules for planning, risky code changes, implementation completion, and releases.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when an agent is planning or changing authentication, secrets, file handling, network requests, CI, deployment, or other trust-boundary code, or when preparing a release.
Why use it?
They help an agent look for security gaps at the right stages without claiming that a project is fully secure. They also distinguish reviewed work, unreviewed work, assumptions, and tool results.

This is alicankiraz1/SentinelXPrime's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on SentinelXPrime itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything SentinelXPrime configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00353 $0.00353
Opus 5 $0.00177 $0.00177
Sonnet 5 $0.00071 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00035 $0.00035

Security

Grade A, and why

SentinelXPrime AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

SentinelXPrime

Purpose

This repository contains a stage-aware cybersecurity skill suite for Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, plus compatibility guidance for Cursor and Kilo.

Required Checkpoints

  • Planning checkpoint: before locking a plan, task list, or architecture, run a security gap analysis.
  • Risky-implementation checkpoint: when work touches authentication, authorization, tokens, secrets, middleware, outbound requests, file handling, CI, deployment, or other trust-boundary code, run a low-noise scoped risky-change review pass and surface only material concerns.
  • Post-implementation checkpoint: when coding appears complete, offer a focused security review.
  • Pre-release checkpoint: before release, handoff, or done confirmation, offer a stack-aware security test/check plan.

Guardrails

  • Treat the suite as advisory-first unless the user explicitly asks for stronger gating.
  • Never claim the repository is secure, fully reviewed, or production-safe from a security perspective.
  • Separate reviewed areas, unreviewed areas, assumptions, and tool-run status in every substantial report.
  • If the user declines a security review or test/check plan in the current stage, do not repeat the same offer until the stage changes.
  • If the stack is unclear, fall back to common web-security guidance and say that the stack inference is uncertain.

Authoring Defaults

  • Keep repository-facing skill files, metadata, docs, examples, and validation artifacts in English unless a localized deliverable is explicitly requested.
  • Keep user-facing assistant responses in the user's configured assistant language when that signal is available. If it is unavailable, follow the active conversation language and fall back to English.
  • Do not add inline or block comments in source code unless the user explicitly asks for them.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
