AGENTS.md

bite-ai-dietitian AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from aligundogdu/bite-ai-dietitian. It costs 355 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for coding and writing agents working on a private health journal and its public website. It defines which workflows to read and which sensitive information must stay private.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps agents route tasks to the right meal, weigh-in, training, weekly-review, or inbox workflow and run the privacy check after public-file changes.
Why use it?
It reduces accidental exposure of medications, diagnoses, symptoms, lab results, and other private health data in public files.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code.

This is aligundogdu/bite-ai-dietitian's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on bite-ai-dietitian itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything bite-ai-dietitian configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00355 $0.00355
Opus 5.5 $0.00142 $0.00142
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00071 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00036 $0.00036

Measured 9d ago against content hash 45825331c66d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

bite-ai-dietitian AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md

Instructions for AI coding/writing agents (Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, ...) working in this repo.

The full rules are in CLAUDE.md. Read it first; everything there applies to you too. The workflows Claude Code runs as skills are plain markdown in .claude/skills/ and work as step-by-step instructions for any agent:

Task Read
User reports a meal or a correction .claude/skills/log-meal/SKILL.md
User reports weight or measurements .claude/skills/weigh-in/SKILL.md
Weekly summary .claude/skills/weekly-retro/SKILL.md
Workout .claude/skills/log-training/SKILL.md
Telegram inbox .claude/skills/inbox/SKILL.md

Non-negotiables

  1. The repo root is a private journal. bite/ is the public ring.
  2. Nothing about medications, diagnoses, symptoms, lab results, heart rate or body measurements may be written under bite/src/content/, bite/src/data/ or bite/public/. Claude Code enforces this with a hook; other agents must run node bite/scripts/privacy-check.mjs after writing there. The bite build runs it too and fails on a hit.
  3. MEDICATIONS.md and .privacy-terms are git-ignored. Never commit them, never summarise them into anything that is committed to bite/.
  4. No medical advice. No dose suggestions.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
