Free Claude Code is an open-source service that brings together free, paid, subscription, and local language-model providers for use with coding agents and other clients. Developers use it to access multiple models from terminals, desktop apps, IDEs, phones, and chat platforms while switching providers when needed. The catalogue add-ons supply instructions for working with the service.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.01655 | $0.01655 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00827 | $0.00827 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00331 | $0.00331 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00166 | $0.00166 |
Grade A, and why
free-claude-code AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Tooling
- Commands assume the repository root. Unrelated edits and untracked files are
outside the change scope; use
git ls-filesfor tracked paths andrgfor search. - Use
uvfor Python environments anduv runfor Python tools/scripts. Follow .python-version,[tool.uv]in pyproject.toml, and uv.lock. Install missing prerequisites as needed; do not upgrade tools or dependencies during unrelated work. uv sync --lockedprepares the development environment. Optional voice extras are needed only for the corresponding live transcription work.- Never use the real
~/.fcc/configuration, credentials, chat database, or messaging state as disposable test fixtures. Use isolated temporary state.
| Task | Command |
|---|---|
| Focused deterministic tests | uv run pytest tests/<area>/test_<feature>.py -n 0 -q |
| Format / lint repair | uv run ruff format <changed-paths>; uv run ruff check --fix <changed-paths> |
| Read-only format / lint checks | uv run ruff format --check; uv run ruff check |
| Type checking | uv run ty check |
| Full deterministic tests | uv run pytest -v --tb=short |
| Browser setup / tests | uv run playwright install chromium; uv run pytest e2e -n 0 -v --tb=short |
| Full local CI | Windows: .\scripts\ci.ps1; macOS/Linux: ./scripts/ci.sh |
Use full local CI before pushing code. The scripts run Ruff in repair mode
before type checking and tests; review their diff. Use PowerShell
-Only / -Skip / -DryRun or shell --only /
--skip / --dry-run when iterating. Check IDs are suppressions,
ruff-format, ruff-check, ty, pytest, and playwright.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
