Overview
alibabacloud-devops-mcp-server is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes the Alibaba Cloud Yunxiao DevOps OpenAPI as ~165 tools across code, project, pipeline, application delivery, packages and test toolsets. TypeScript, ESM, Node ≥ 18, MCP SDK @modelcontextprotocol/sdk.

npm test runs the suites in tests/ on Node's built-in test runner (node --test). They are integration tests: every case hits the real Yunxiao OpenAPI, so .env must contain a valid YUNXIAO_ACCESS_TOKEN (tests/setup.ts throws without it) and the org is hardcoded there. Run it before committing — tsc alone will not catch a broken request path or a response schema that no longer matches.
Two things the suite does not cover, so verify them yourself when touching schemas:
- The test org's data has no
null/missing optional fields, so a missing.nullable()passes here and only fails in production. Feed the offending shape to the schema directly instead. - Only a handful of tools are exercised. A
tools/listsmoke test over stdio is a cheap way to confirm all 199 still build a validinputSchema.
