Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01150 | $0.01150 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00575 | $0.00575 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00230 | $0.00230 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00115 | $0.00115 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-redmine-rest CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 97 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md
What this is
An MCP server that exposes the Redmine REST API as tools for Claude (or any MCP client), over stdio. Thin proxy — it forwards calls to Redmine and turns failures into readable text; it does not implement its own authorization.
Layout (src-layout)
src/mcp_redmine/app.py— FastMCP instance, thetooldecorator,main()entry point.src/mcp_redmine/config.py— readsREDMINE_URL/REDMINE_API_KEY/REDMINE_TIMEOUT/REDMINE_UPLOAD_ROOTS/REDMINE_SSL_VERIFYfrom the environment.src/mcp_redmine/client.py— HTTP client wrapping the Redmine REST API.src/mcp_redmine/errors.py—RedmineErrorand message formatting.src/mcp_redmine/tools/*.py— one module per Redmine resource (issues, projects, users, wiki, ...).tools/__init__.pyimports every submodule so their@tool-decorated functions register with FastMCP as a side effect — nothing else should import fromtools/__init__.pydirectly.tests/— pytest, usingresponsesto mock the Redmine HTTP API.
Tool registration pattern
Every tool function is decorated with @tool from app.py. That decorator:
- Registers the function with the shared
mcpFastMCP instance. - Catches
RedmineErrorand returnsf"Error: {redmine_error_message(exc)}"as a normal string return value instead of letting it propagate. Tools that need custom partial-failure handling (e.g. an upload that succeeds but a follow-up link fails) catchRedmineErrorthemselves before this wrapper sees it. - Any non-
RedmineErrorexception is a bug and is left to propagate.
New tools go in the relevant tools/<resource>.py module (or a new one,
added to the import list in tools/__init__.py).
Deliberately missing tools
There is no delete_project or delete_user tool, on purpose — see
SECURITY.md. Both operations are
irreversible; use archive_project and update_user(status=3) instead. Do
not add delete tools for these two resources.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mcp-redmine-rest CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository alsimoes/mcp-redmine-rest (1 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,150 tokens to every session, about $0.0057 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
