dbhub-analytics CLAUDE.md

dbhub-analytics CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from amansingh63/dbhub-analytics. It costs 2,752 tokens per session, scanned A, original, from a forked repository, MIT.

Repository-specific instructions for developing DBHub, a database MCP server that connects AI clients to several database systems. A monorepo is one repository containing multiple related projects, such as DBHub’s backend and frontend.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps Claude Code install dependencies, build the backend and frontend, regenerate API types, run development servers, and run Vitest unit or integration tests.
Why use it?
It records the project’s setup, architecture, build commands, development commands, and tests so work follows the repository’s conventions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02752 $0.02752
Opus 5 $0.01376 $0.01376
Sonnet 5 $0.00550 $0.00550
Haiku 4.5 $0.00275 $0.00275

Measured 5d ago against content hash 7497a441c9e7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dbhub-analytics CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DBHub Development Guidelines

DBHub is a database MCP server implementing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server interface. It bridges MCP-compatible clients (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor) with various database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, SQLite, Databricks SQL, Google BigQuery).

Commands

Prerequisites: Node.js >= 20, pnpm, Docker (for integration tests).

pnpm install # Install dependencies (monorepo: root + frontend/)
pnpm run build # Full build: generate API types + tsup backend + vite frontend
pnpm run build:backend # Backend only (generates API types + tsup)
pnpm run dev # Dev mode: backend (HTTP transport) + frontend (Vite) concurrently
pnpm run dev:backend # Backend dev only with tsx
pnpm run generate:api-types # Regenerate src/api/openapi.d.ts from src/api/openapi.yaml

# Testing (vitest)
pnpm test # All tests (unit + integration)
pnpm test:unit # Unit tests only (no Docker)
pnpm test:integration # Integration tests only (requires Docker)
pnpm test:watch # Interactive watch mode
pnpm test src/utils/__tests__/sql-parser.test.ts # Single test file
pnpm test -- --testNamePattern="PostgreSQL" # Tests matching pattern
pnpm test:build # Post-build smoke test

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
