thoughtweave AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Amatofrancesco99/thoughtweave. It costs 896 tokens per session, scanned B, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for Thoughtweave, a collection of reusable markdown workflows for structured software planning, implementation, and documentation.

In plain words
What is it for?
It guides work with agent instructions, software specifications, change records, repository documentation, and engineering practices.
Why use it?
It sets shared rules for repository structure, required checks, output files, and the order in which the workflows should be used.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00896 $0.00896
Opus 5 $0.00448 $0.00448
Sonnet 5 $0.00179 $0.00179
Haiku 4.5 $0.00090 $0.00090

Measured 7d ago against content hash 748a20ab8d39, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade B, and why

thoughtweave AGENTS.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Strips warnings and disclaimersmediumAnti-refusal

Omitting safety caveats hides risk from the user and is a common jailbreak preamble.

10. Git hooks will enforce all checks automatically on commit - ensure the commit succeeds without warnings.

AGENTS.md - thoughtweave

Domain

Developer tooling - workflow automation and coding agent skills for structured, intent-driven software engineering. The repository provides reusable markdown skills that guide coding agents through specification, implementation, and documentation phases. Agents should be familiar with the thoughtweave philosophy: intent-first, slow thinking, surfacing hidden assumptions, engineering as understanding.

Repository Structure

For repository structure refer to REPO_STRUCTURE.md.

Architectural Directives

  • All skills are plain markdown files in skills/<name>/SKILL.md - no executables, no additional software to install.
  • Repo structure shall be simple, maintainable, readable, with well separated concepts.
  • Skills must be independently usable but designed to work together in sequence: init-agents-file -> sdd -> changes.
  • Every skill must include pre-condition checks and output validation as defined in the specification.
  • Skill output files (AGENTS.md, spec.md, changes.md) must use GitHub alert tags for scannability.
  • Mermaid diagrams must follow the defined style (theme: base, look: handDrawn, layout: dagre, subgraph wrap for dark mode, pastel palette).
  • No skill may generate implementation code - skills produce documentation and specifications only.
  • The specs/ folder is permanent engineering memory - never delete a specification after implementation.

Engineering Best Practices

  • All tests are Node.js with vitest - no shell scripts or Python.
  • All tests run automatically via git hooks on every commit and push - no manual npm test needed.
  • Pre-commit hooks run: em-dash replacement, skills-ref validation, terraform fmt, section validation, content tests.
  • Terraform HCL files must be formatted with terraform fmt -recursive.
  • No em dashes (U+2014) allowed in any .md file - use regular dashes (U+002D) instead.
  • .gitignore must always include node_modules/, .skills/, .terraform/, *.tfstate, *.tfstate.*, *.log.
  • Vulnerability scanning is mandatory after any implementation before generating changes documentation.
  • CLAUDE.md must never be a regular file - it must be a symlink to AGENTS.md at all times.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
