Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00725 | $0.00725 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00362 | $0.00362 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00145 | $0.00145 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00072 | $0.00072 |
Grade A, and why
angel-one-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 97 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Angel One MCP Server
Purpose
TypeScript MCP server that exposes Angel One SmartAPI as MCP tools for LLM clients.
What belongs here
Keep this file short and action-focused. Put stable project guidance here:
- build/test commands
- architecture facts
- coding conventions
- safety rules
- common change workflow
Do not use this file for changelogs, release notes, marketing copy, or long setup docs.
Key Commands
npm install
npm run build
npm run lint
npm run lint:fix
npm run format
npm start
npm run dev
Run npm run build after code changes. Run npm run lint before finishing.
Architecture
- No Angel One SDK packages. Use direct
fetch()calls tohttps://apiconnect.angelone.in. - Entry point:
src/index.ts - Env + safety limits:
src/config.ts - API client, auth, token refresh:
src/api.ts - Order safety guard:
src/guards.ts - Shared types/errors:
src/types.ts - TOTP generation:
src/totp.ts - Tool registration barrel:
src/tools/index.ts - Tool groups live in
src/tools/
Core Behavior
- Server uses stdio transport via
@modelcontextprotocol/sdk. - Auth is lazy: first API call can trigger login.
- TOTP is generated from
ANGEL_TOTP_SECRET. - Token refresh is handled in API layer.
- Credentials stay in API/config layer. Tool layer should only receive
SafetyConfigwhere needed.
Coding Conventions
- TypeScript strict mode. Preserve strong typing.
- Use ESM imports/exports.
- Use
@/path aliases. Do not add relative imports from.or... - Prefer
import typefor type-only imports. - Do not use
any. - Do not use non-null assertions.
- Keep changes small and consistent with existing file patterns.
- Put shared validation/business logic in helpers or API/guard layers, not duplicated across tools.
Tool Design Rules
- Register tools with
server.registerTool(...). - Define or extend request/response types in
src/types.tswhen needed. - Keep tool handlers thin: parse input, call API/helper, shape output.
- Put Angel endpoints and HTTP behavior in
src/api.ts, not inside tool files. - If adding a new tool group file, register it in
src/tools/index.ts.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
