fitatu-mcp-unofficial: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

fitatu-mcp-unofficial AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from AndekQR/fitatu-mcp-unofficial. It costs 2,465 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project-specific instruction guide for an unofficial Fitatu server using MCP, a standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when developing or reviewing the Fitatu MCP server, especially its architecture, endpoints, and verification steps.
Why use it?
It tells the agent which sources to trust, how the code is organized, and which rules to follow when changing the project.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions AGENTS.md.

This is AndekQR/fitatu-mcp-unofficial's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on fitatu-mcp-unofficial itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything fitatu-mcp-unofficial configures →

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /Users/daniel/Projects/fitatu_mcp.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02465 $0.02465
Opus 5 $0.01233 $0.01233
Sonnet 5 $0.00493 $0.00493
Haiku 4.5 $0.00247 $0.00247

Security

Grade A, and why

fitatu-mcp-unofficial AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agent Instructions

This repository implements an unofficial Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Fitatu in TypeScript. These instructions define how an AI agent should work in this repository. They apply to the entire project unless a more specific AGENTS.md exists in a subdirectory.

1. Sources and their roles

Use each source for its stated purpose:

  • The user's current request defines the scope and desired outcome.
  • This file defines repository-wide working and implementation rules.
  • ARCHITECTURE.md defines directory ownership, layer boundaries, dependency direction, model construction, and architectural review rules.
  • package.json defines the available development, build, and verification commands.
  • The official Model Context Protocol TypeScript SDK is the primary technical reference for MCP servers, tools, resources, schemas, and transports.
  • PYTHON_REFERENCE_ENDPOINTS.md and the Python project at /Users/daniel/Projects/fitatu_mcp are read-only research sources.

If existing code conflicts with an architectural rule, do not copy or expand the inconsistency without first determining the intended design.

2. Non-negotiable rules

  • Work on the current branch unless the user explicitly requests another branch.
  • Read ARCHITECTURE.md before changing public models, service contracts, layer mappings, or MCP contracts.
  • Keep MCP tools, application services, Fitatu HTTP clients, domain mapping, and error presentation in their owning layers.
  • Validate external input and upstream data at the appropriate boundary.
  • Keep secrets and personal data out of source code, logs, errors, fixtures, and committed output.
  • Do not add new tests unless the user explicitly requests them. Modify existing tests when needed to keep them consistent with a change.
  • Confirm that a script exists in package.json before running it.
  • Do not copy the Python reference implementation mechanically.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
