Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01018 | $0.01018 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00509 | $0.00509 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00204 | $0.00204 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00102 | $0.00102 |
Grade A, and why
fak GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 48 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Gemini CLI context — fak
Not the human contributor guide. This file is operating instructions for automated contributors working inside the maintainers' shared checkout. Humans want
README.mdfor what fak is andCONTRIBUTING.mdfor how to contribute; nothing on this page applies to you.
The canonical agent instructions for this repo are in AGENTS.md — read it
first for build/test/run, the repo map, and the rules. Curated doc map:
llms.txt. Contributor contract: CONTRIBUTING.md.
This repo is fak, an agent kernel: one Go binary that sits between an AI agent and the
tools it calls and adjudicates every call before it runs — deny by structure, repair
malformed calls, quarantine poisoned results. Its MCP server is wired in .mcp.json.
Must-know rules (enforced below the agent layer):
- Delegate substantive work and keep the coordinator context clean — use guarded
headless agents or equivalent isolated workers for investigation, implementation, tests,
and review. Keep only decisions and compact witnessed evidence in the primary context;
independently verify worker effects before landing or reporting them. Direct work is for
lightweight coordination and truly trivial tasks. See
AGENTS.md. - Work directly on the trunk (
main); never open a feature branch or worktree — the trunk guard refuses off-trunk commits (OFF_TRUNK). The one sanctioned exception: a detached per-worker worktree that lands onmainviafak worktree worker prepare|land|reap(build isolation, #1334) — detached and lane-serialized, it is not a branch and never tripsOFF_TRUNK. Feature branches and off-trunk commits stay forbidden. - Commit by explicit path (
git commit -- <paths>, nevergit add -A); sign off withgit commit -s(DCO). - The Go module is the repository root — run
gocommands from the clone root (go install github.com/anthony-chaudhary/fak/cmd/fak@latestresolves directly).
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fak GEMINI.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository anthony-chaudhary/fak (37 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 1,018 tokens to every session, about $0.0051 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
