CLAUDE.md

ai-oracle-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from APRO-com/ai-oracle-skills. It costs 550 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for AI Oracle skills, a project that provides cryptocurrency market-data queries and client-code generation. They describe its API, authentication, testing, and verification rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to query cryptocurrency prices and market data or generate client libraries from the project’s API specification.
Why use it?
They help prevent incorrect API usage and ensure generated integrations follow the project’s required structure.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00550 $0.00550
Opus 5 $0.00275 $0.00275
Sonnet 5 $0.00110 $0.00110
Haiku 4.5 $0.00055 $0.00055

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-oracle-skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Project Overview

This repo contains Claude Code skills for the APRO AI Oracle Ticker API — a cryptocurrency price, category, and OHLCV data oracle with cryptographic signatures for on-chain verification.

There are two skills in skills/:

  • ai-oracle-integration (skills/ai-oracle-integration/) — Code generation skill that produces production-ready client libraries for the Ticker API in any language. Generated code goes to examples/<language>/ticker/ with a mandatory directory structure (src/types/, src/client/, src/utils/, examples/). The OpenAPI spec at skills/ai-oracle-integration/references/ai-oracle-api.yaml is the authoritative source for all types and endpoints.

  • ticker-query-skill (skills/ticker-query-skill/) — Live query skill that calls the Ticker API directly via curl and returns formatted results. No code generation — just HTTP requests.

API Essentials

  • Base URL: https://api-ai-oracle.apro.com
  • Auth: X-API-KEY and X-API-SECRET headers on every request
  • Critical naming: API uses full cryptocurrency names (name=Bitcoin), NOT symbols (BTC). Quote currency param is quotation, not currency. OHLCV intervals are "hourly"/"daily", not "1h"/"1d". OHLCV query timestamps are in milliseconds, response timestamps in seconds.
  • 6 endpoints: currencies/list, currency/support, currency/price, category/list, category/coins, currency/ohlcv

Testing

Run the API test script against all 6 endpoints:

# Requires APRO_API_KEY and APRO_API_SECRET env vars (or uses defaults in script)
chmod +x test_ticker_api.sh && ./test_ticker_api.sh

Code Generation Verification

When the ai-oracle-integration skill generates code, it must pass compilation:

Language Command
TypeScript cd examples/<lang>/ticker && npm install && npx tsc --noEmit
Python python3 -m py_compile src/types/index.py && ... (each file)
Go cd examples/go/ticker && go mod tidy && go build ./... && go vet ./...
Rust cd examples/rust/ticker && cargo check

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ai-oracle-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository APRO-com/ai-oracle-skills (22 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 550 tokens to every session, about $0.0028 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
