spectacular CLAUDE.md

spectacular CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from arittr/spectacular. It costs 5,858 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Spectacular, a Claude Code plugin that connects software changes to written specifications and can split independent tasks across Git worktrees.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to write specifications, break features into tasks, run independent tasks in parallel, and prepare small stacked branches for pull requests.
Why use it?
It helps agents keep code tied to agreed requirements, divide work safely, and organize related branches for review.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.05858 $0.05858
Opus 5 $0.02929 $0.02929
Sonnet 5 $0.01172 $0.01172
Haiku 4.5 $0.00586 $0.00586

Measured 5d ago against content hash 21cdacb8c714, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

spectacular CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

Spectacular is a Claude Code plugin that enables spec-anchored development with automatic parallel task execution. It extends the superpowers plugin with commands and skills for feature specification, task decomposition, and parallel execution via git worktrees and git-spice stacked branches.

Core Philosophy:

  • Spec anchoring: Every line of code traces back to spec + constitution
  • Automatic parallelization: Independent tasks run simultaneously via git worktrees
  • Reviewable PRs: Auto-stacked branches keep changes small and focused
  • Constitution versioning: Architectural rules evolve explicitly with immutable history

Architecture

Plugin Structure

This is a Claude Code plugin with a pure skills architecture (matching superpowers pattern):

Command vs Skill (Updated)

  • Commands (commands/*.md): Thin wrappers that invoke skills. Each command is ~5 lines that simply calls the appropriate skill.
  • Skills (skills/*/SKILL.md): Contain all orchestration logic. Self-contained workflows that define HOW to do things.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
