CLAUDE.md

cad-cae-copilot CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from armpro24-blip/cad-cae-copilot. It costs 264 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A short set of Claude Code instructions for the aieng workspace, a computer-aided design and engineering project. It points agents to the main guide and explains the required workbench and frontend practices.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps start sessions with the aieng workbench, work on the frontend without enlarging its main component, and review changes using the project's documented defect checks.
Why use it?
It gives Claude Code a reliable starting point and avoids outdated code paths while keeping the frontend easier to maintain.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00264 $0.00264
Opus 5 $0.00132 $0.00132
Sonnet 5 $0.00053 $0.00053
Haiku 4.5 $0.00026 $0.00026

Security

Grade A, and why

cad-cae-copilot CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Claude Code — aieng Workspace

The full agent guide is in AGENTS.md — read it before acting.

@AGENTS.md

TL;DR

  • Drive the workbench via the aieng-workbench MCP server (configured in .mcp.json in this repo — auto-loaded by Claude Code).
  • First calls: aieng.agent_readmeaieng.list_projectsaieng.agent_context.
  • Do NOT read aieng/src/ for capabilities, and do NOT run code to diagnose the backend. Use the MCP tools.
  • In aieng-ui/frontend/, keep App.tsx lightweight and modular. Split large responsibilities into focused hooks/components, preserve UI behavior during refactors, and remove confirmed-dead frontend code instead of accumulating another monolith.
  • Before reviewing a PR — including your own, before opening it — read aieng.guide {topic: "review"}. It names the six defect patterns this codebase actually produces, each with the question that detects it and the measured instance behind it. Every one of them shipped through green CI.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
