What is claude-plugins CLAUDE.md?

Repository instructions for developing and merging reusable Claude Code plugins. They define the required workflow, including versioning plugin changes and merging pull requests.

Use them when modifying files under a plugin directory, choosing the correct major, minor, or patch version change, creating a separate version-bump commit, or merging a pull request in this repository.

They prevent plugin changes from being merged without the required version update or approval method. They also give Claude Code project-specific rules to follow automatically.

PR Merge

Automatically bump version in plugins/<name>/.claude-plugin/plugin.json:
- PATCH: bug fixes, docs, UI improvements
- MINOR: new features, backwards-compatible
- MAJOR: breaking changes
Commit version bump (separate commit with changelog message)
Then create PR
