claude-plugins: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

claude-plugins CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from artem-from-ua/claude-plugins. It costs 1,625 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for developing and merging reusable Claude Code plugins. They define the required workflow, including versioning plugin changes and merging pull requests.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying files under a plugin directory, choosing the correct major, minor, or patch version change, creating a separate version-bump commit, or merging a pull request in this repository.
Why use it?
They prevent plugin changes from being merged without the required version update or approval method. They also give Claude Code project-specific rules to follow automatically.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} variable. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code.

This is artem-from-ua/claude-plugins's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on claude-plugins itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything claude-plugins configures →

Runs only inside a plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else, and the catalogue could not identify which plugin ships it.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01625 $0.01625
Opus 5 $0.00813 $0.00813
Sonnet 5 $0.00325 $0.00325
Haiku 4.5 $0.00162 $0.00162

Measured 7d ago against content hash ded7458412bb, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-plugins CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

allow_auto_merge is disabled in this repo — gh pr merge --auto will fail. Branch protection requires --admin for immediate merge. Always use:

gh pr merge <N> --squash --admin

⚠️ CRITICAL: Version Bump Requirement

MANDATORY: Claude Code MUST automatically bump version when plugin files change

Workflow (NO EXCEPTIONS)

When ANY files under plugins/<name>/ are modified:

  1. Make code/doc changes
  2. Check current version in main: git show main:plugins/<name>/.claude-plugin/plugin.json | jq -r '.version'
  3. Automatically bump version in plugins/<name>/.claude-plugin/plugin.json:
    • PATCH: bug fixes, docs, UI improvements
    • MINOR: new features, backwards-compatible
    • MAJOR: breaking changes
  4. Commit version bump (separate commit with changelog message)
  5. Then create PR

See docs/versioning.md for full semver rules, conflict resolution, and examples.

This is NOT a reminder. This is NOT optional. This is MANDATORY automated behavior.

What This Is

A marketplace of reusable Claude Code plugins. Each plugin lives under plugins/<name>/ and follows the Claude Code plugin spec. The marketplace manifest is .claude-plugin/marketplace.json.

Plugins

  • ai-fortune — Career direction analysis: interview + AI usage pattern mining
  • context — Inspects full session context in load order
  • fresh-guides — Watchlist for fast-changing technologies: verifies advice against official docs
  • git-branch-naming — Enforces branch naming conventions (prefix/kebab-case)
  • kb-grooming — Documentation health analysis: structural checks, semantic compliance, GitHub issues
  • plantuml — Keeps PlantUML diagram URLs in sync; provides ASCII rendering in terminal
  • playbook — Injects curated coding guideline presets into sessions
  • retroscope — Generates retrospective reports summarizing sessions
  • semver — Enforces semantic versioning on commit/push/PR
  • statusline — Three-line statusline: rate limits, context/branch, extra usage
  • statusline-compact — Minimal single-line statusline: repo/worktree/branch, model/effort/context/cost (jq + git only)
  • technology-explainer — Adapts explanation depth based on user proficiency per technology

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
