Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01660 | $0.01660 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00830 | $0.00830 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00332 | $0.00332 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00166 | $0.00166 |
Grade A, and why
autovault CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Makes network callslowCapability
Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
5. `checkCapabilityDeclaration` (`capability.ts`) — cross-check declared capabilities against content (e.g. `network: false` vs. a `curl` in the body). How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 99 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project
AutoVault is a stdio-only MCP server that stores, validates, and serves agent SKILL.md files. It is Node/TypeScript (ESM, NodeNext modules, strict TS). It does not execute skills — it validates them and serves them to MCP hosts.
The entry point dist/index.js is designed to be spawned by an MCP host (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) over stdio. It is not an interactive CLI and has no HTTP surface.
Common commands
npm ci # install deps
npm run build # tsc → dist/
npm run dev # tsx watch (rebuild on save)
npm test # vitest run (one-shot)
npm run test:watch # vitest in watch mode
npx vitest run tests/dedup.test.ts # run a single test file
npx vitest run -t "name substring" # run tests matching a name
node scripts/bootstrap-skills.mjs # seed bundled skills into $AUTOVAULT_STORAGE_PATH
node scripts/smoke.mjs # end-to-end smoke (spawns dist/index.js)
node scripts/probe.mjs # negative-path probing
The bootstrap/smoke/probe scripts require npm run build first because they spawn dist/index.js as a child process over stdio.
Architecture
Request flow
src/index.ts → loadConfig() → ensureStorage() → createServer() (src/mcp/server.ts) registers 7 MCP tools, each wrapping a handler in src/tools/. Tool handlers return plain objects; runTool in server.ts serializes them to the MCP content[0].text envelope.
Validation pipeline (shared by install_skill and propose_skill)
Both write paths funnel through validateSkillInput() in src/validation/index.ts, which runs in this order:
attemptRepair(frontmatter.ts) — normalizes frontmatter formatting.parseFrontmatter— gray-matter parse.validateSchema(schema.ts) — zod schema for name/description/capabilities/etc.runSecurityScan(security.ts) — denylist regex match againstscripts/security/patterns.json(loaded lazily, cached).checkCapabilityDeclaration(capability.ts) — cross-check declared capabilities against content (e.g.network: falsevs. acurlin the body).
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

autovault CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository autoworks-ai/autovault (3 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,660 tokens to every session, about $0.0083 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
