Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00970 | $0.00970 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00485 | $0.00485 |

Grade A, and why
public-gateway-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 74 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Development Workflow
IMPORTANT: Always use just commands instead of underlying tools directly. Do not run uv, pytest, ruff, mypy, or other tools directly - use the just wrappers instead.
Test-Driven Development
The development workflow follows TDD principles:
- Write tests first in the
tests/directory - Run
just fixto auto-fix linting/formatting issues in case of linting errors - Run
just check-allis the most important command, as always should run this before committing
MCP server
mcpmust be a module-level global insrc/public_gateway_mcp/server.py, assigned at import time outside any function (for examplemcp = build_mcp(...).mcp). It must be importable by the FastMCP CLI aspublic_gateway_mcp.server:mcp. Do not hide it behind__getattr__, lazy getters, or construction only insidemain().- OpenAPI documents must be used exactly as loaded. Pass each document into
FastMCP.from_openapiunchanged. Do not copy, deep-copy, rewrite paths, or otherwise modify the OpenAPI mapping. - One
httpx.AsyncClientper OpenAPI mount: Create a client for each mounted API withbase_urlset from that spec’sservers[0].url, using the same API key header and timeout settings. Close every client in lifespan /finally. Do not share one client across mounts that have different server URLs. - Never use
BaseException(includingexcept BaseException). Usetry/finallyfor cleanup that must run on failure or exit.
Testing
- No mocking: Do not use
unittest.mock, pytestmonkeypatch to replace collaborators, httpx.MockTransport, fake clients, or other test doubles that stub out real behavior. Prefer dependency injection (pass OpenAPI documents, HTTP clients, callables) and real local HTTP servers when HTTP is required.
Code reviews
- Every code review (including the
code-reviewersubagent) must read the full currentAGENTS.mdfrom disk before judging the diff, then enforce every applicable rule. AGENTS.md violations are High/blocking unless clearly stylistic.just check-alldoes not enforce these conventions.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
