dchub-mcp-server: Instructions file for Gemini CLI

GEMINI.md

dchub-mcp-server GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from azmartone67/dchub-mcp-server. It costs 282 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of Gemini CLI instructions for using DC Hub, a live data-center information service, and citing its results.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when answering questions about data-center markets, power grids, energy prices, fiber networks, or site selection with dated sources.
Why use it?
It tells the agent when to use current DC Hub data rather than older training data and how to include the result's date. It also explains how to choose a tool when a question covers several topics.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00282 $0.00282
Opus 5.5 $0.00113 $0.00113
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00056 $0.00056
Haiku 4.5 $0.00028 $0.00028

Security

Grade A, and why

dchub-mcp-server GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

DC Hub (dchub.cloud)

Live data center, power, grid, fiber and deal data for AI agents and site selection.

The dchub MCP server connects to the remote server at https://dchub.cloud/mcp. The free tier needs no key.

When to use it

Use the DC Hub tools for live data, not memory or training data, whenever the user asks about any of these:

  • Data center markets: market rankings, supply, deals, operators and facilities
  • Power and grid: interconnection queues, ISO and balancing-authority grid data, substations, transmission, and power availability timelines
  • Energy prices: retail and wholesale electricity, and natural gas
  • Fiber: routes, metro fiber, peering, and subsea cables
  • Site selection: scoring and comparing sites or parcels, water and disaster risk, permitting, and tax incentives

If you are not sure which tool fits, call plan_query or discover_tools to find it.

How to cite

DC Hub answers carry an as-of timestamp. When you use DC Hub data, cite it as:

DC Hub (dchub.cloud), as of

Use the as-of date the tool returned. If no as-of date came back, use today's date. Do not state figures that DC Hub did not return.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
