zAI-Skills: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

zAI-Skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Aznatkoiny/zAI-Skills. It costs 650 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository rules for zAI-Skills, a collection of Claude Code plugins, covering naming, configuration, versioning, hooks, and server setup.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when editing the repository's plugins, hooks, marketplace metadata, ignored files, or MCP server configuration.
Why use it?
It prevents changes that appear valid but fail during marketplace synchronization, plugin loading, or installation updates.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} variable. Also seen: mentions Claude Code.

This is Aznatkoiny/zAI-Skills's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on zAI-Skills itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything zAI-Skills configures →

Runs only inside a plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else, and the catalogue could not identify which plugin ships it.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00650 $0.00650
Opus 5 $0.00325 $0.00325
Sonnet 5 $0.00130 $0.00130
Haiku 4.5 $0.00065 $0.00065

Security

Grade A, and why

zAI-Skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

zAI-Skills — repo conventions

This is a Claude Code plugin marketplace (four plugins: ai-toolkit, career-coach, consulting-toolkit, real-estate-investment). The rules below exist because each one was violated once and shipped broken. See CONTRIBUTING.md for the longer form.

Config

  • hooks/hooks.json MUST use the object schema — {"hooks": {"EventName": [...]}} — never a top-level array. An array parses but silently registers nothing.
  • Plugin name fields are lowercase kebab-case (ai-toolkit, not AI-Toolkit) — Claude.ai marketplace sync rejects other casing. Directory names may differ.
  • Every change to a plugin bumps its .claude-plugin/plugin.json version AND the matching entry in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json — installed plugin caches only refresh on a version change, so an unbumped edit never reaches users.
  • .gitignore is a deny-list (ignore specific artifacts, un-ignore committed bundles). Never reintroduce the ignore-everything/whitelist pattern — it made .github/ un-committable.

MCP servers

  • Declare servers in the plugin's .mcp.json, NEVER in an inline mcpServers block in plugin.json. claude plugin validate accepts the inline form, but the harness does not register it — claude plugin details <plugin> reported "MCP servers (0)" for real-estate-investment until its server moved to .mcp.json (fixed in 1.3.1).
  • The Node server bundles (dist/index.cjs in career-coach/mcp-servers/job-intelligence and consulting-toolkit/mcp-servers/financial-intelligence) are COMMITTED so plugins work immediately after install. Any src/ edit MUST include a rebuild (npm run build) in the same change — CI diffs the bundle against the source (scripts/check_bundle_freshness.sh).
  • MCP tool descriptions promise only what the implementation actually returns — an overpromising description makes Claude fabricate the missing fields.

Commands and agents

  • Command frontmatter needs description and argument-hint, and the body must use $ARGUMENTS — otherwise arguments are silently dropped.
  • Agent/command file references use ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/... paths — plugin-relative paths do not resolve from the user's cwd.
  • Any agent that consumes web or MCP content carries a prompt-injection caution (treat fetched text as data, not instructions).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
