Azure/sap-automation-bootstrap is a customer-configuration and wrapper-pipeline repository for running the SAP Deployment Automation Framework through Azure DevOps. It stores deployment settings and invokes implementation templates from the separate sap-automation repository. Its catalogue skills and plugin help coding agents bootstrap Azure DevOps projects and explain the available wrapper pipelines.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00541 | $0.00541 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00270 | $0.00270 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00108 | $0.00108 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00054 | $0.00054 |
Grade A, and why
sap-automation-bootstrap copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 41 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Copilot / Claude / Gemini instructions for sap-automation-bootstrap
This repository ships the azure-sap-automation-devops plugin — the Azure DevOps
surface node of the SDAF cross-agent skills graph. It is installed by an
operator only after the Azure/sap-automation hub plugin has directed them
here. It does not install the hub, and it does not duplicate any hub
skill.
What the plugin ships
Two skills under skills/ (real directories; no symlinks, no mirror script):
sdaf-ado-project-bootstrap— action-loop skill that drives the documentedNew-SDAFUserAssignedIdentity+New-SDAFADOProject+New-SDAFADOWorkloadZonepath fromdocs/02-00-bootstrap.md,docs/02-10-configure-devops-project.md, anddocs/02-20-configure-workload-zone-artifacts.md.sdaf-ado-pipeline-catalogue— context-primer skill covering the 13 pipeline wrappers inpipelines/, their documented parameters and preconditions, the variable groups they read, and the documented20/21/22level-up path (docs/pipeline-reference.md,docs/07-00-operations.md).
Ground rules
- Documented-only. Skills teach only what this repository's
docs/already documents. Undocumented behaviour reconstructed from source is out of scope — flag the gap, do not invent the procedure. - No production code changes. Skills describe and drive existing SDAF behaviour; they never modify pipelines, PowerShell utilities, playbooks, or Terraform.
- Two skills, disjoint triggers. "Set up SDAF on ADO" / "onboard a
workload zone" →
sdaf-ado-project-bootstrap. "What does pipeline N do" / "which variable group does N read" / "level up" → catalogue. - This plugin is a surface node. It does not orient the operator across surfaces; that is the hub plugin's job. When an operator has not decided between Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, refer them back to the hub.
- Never install another plugin from these skills. There is no runtime dependency and no auto-install machinery in this repo.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sap-automation-bootstrap copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository Azure/sap-automation-bootstrap (11 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 541 tokens to every session, about $0.0027 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
