Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02898 | $0.02898 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01449 | $0.01449 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00580 | $0.00580 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00290 | $0.00290 |
Grade B, and why
toolkit-ai CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

.claude/, .codex/, .gemini/ hold keys, settings and other credentials a mod has no legitimate need for.

What This Repo Is
A source-driven CLI + React Ink TUI that acts as a package manager for AI coding assistants. It discovers, installs, and updates skills, subagents, and MCP servers across Claude Code, Codex, Amp, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor from any GitHub or Bitbucket repo.
Key properties:
- No bundled content — every resource comes from user-configured external sources
- Byte-for-byte native — installs into each tool's real on-disk format (not a layer on top)
- Single executable — tsup bundles everything into
bin/ai-toolkit.mjs(ESM), zero runtime dependencies - Security-scanned — every external resource passes a static-analysis scanner before install
Important: Keep README.md up to date with any changes to commands, setup, or usage.
Quick Start
# Launch TUI (browse, install, remove, update — all in one place)
ai-toolkit
# Or run directly from repo
node bin/ai-toolkit.mjs
# Headless commands
node bin/ai-toolkit.mjs list
node bin/ai-toolkit.mjs source refresh
node bin/ai-toolkit.mjs --version
node bin/ai-toolkit.mjs settings
Development
npm install # install deps
npm run build # production build -> bin/ai-toolkit.mjs (publish only)
npm run build:dev # LOCAL VERIFICATION BUILD — stamps a build number into the UI
npm run dev # build with watch mode
npm test # typecheck + run 31 unit/integration tests
npm link # link globally for local testing
Verifying changes locally — build:dev only
Manual / TUI verification must use npm run build:dev, never npm run build. The dev build stamps a build number (git short SHA, +-dirty when the tracked tree is dirty) into the Logo and --version:
toolkit-ai v2.1.13 dev build · adb1edd
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

toolkit-ai CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository barleviatias/toolkit-ai (12 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 2,898 tokens to every session, about $0.0145 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (reads agent configuration directories). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
