Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02491 | $0.02491 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01246 | $0.01246 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00498 | $0.00498 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00249 | $0.00249 |
Grade A, and why
omnivox-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 141 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
Omnivox-MCP is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes a Quebec college student portal (Omnivox/Lea) through both MCP tools and REST API endpoints. It scrapes and transforms data from Omnivox's mobile API into structured, validated responses. See SKILL.md for tool descriptions and usage documentation.
Commands
- Start server (HTTP):
npm start— default mode, Express server on port 3000 (orPORTenv var) with REST API and MCP-over-HTTP - Start server (stdio):
npm run start:stdio— communicates over stdin/stdout for MCP clients like Claude Desktop (deprecated, not recommended) - No test suite or build step configured. The project runs TypeScript directly via
tsx.
Transport Modes
The server supports two transport modes, selected at startup:
- HTTP (default):
npm start— starts an Express server with the Streamable HTTP MCP transport at/mcp?key=..., REST tool gateway, and access key authentication. - stdio (deprecated, not recommended):
npm run start:stdio— the MCP client launches the server as a subprocess and communicates over stdin/stdout. No Express server, no access key, no REST API. All logs go to stderr to keep stdout clean for the MCP protocol.
Architecture
Startup Flow (src/index.js)
Both modes share the same entry point. The --http flag selects the transport:
Always runs:
- MCP tools (auto-discovered from
src/mcp/tools/) - Puppeteer browser instance
stdio mode (default — no --http flag) (deprecated, not recommended):
3. Connects mcpServer to a StdioServerTransport
HTTP mode (--http flag):
3. Calls StartExpressServer() from src/express/server.ts, which:
- Initializes the access key (generates/loads API auth key)
- Sets up Express app with MCP-over-HTTP router at
/mcp - Applies access key validation middleware
- Auto-discovers route files from
src/express/routes/ - Listens on
PORT(default 3000)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

omnivox-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository Beat-YT/omnivox-mcp (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 2,491 tokens to every session, about $0.0125 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
