CLAUDE.md

daily-watchlist CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Benboerba620/daily-watchlist. It costs 324 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for a Daily Watchlist workflow, which tracks market information, and its related Hypothesis Tracker for recording evidence behind investment ideas.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps create daily watchlists, import data, start and review hypotheses, and record trades using the project's recommended commands.
Why use it?
It tells an agent which commands, configuration files, and templates define the workflow instead of copying the entire protocol into another project.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00324 $0.00324
Opus 5 $0.00162 $0.00162
Sonnet 5 $0.00065 $0.00065
Haiku 4.5 $0.00032 $0.00032

Measured 9d ago against content hash 564d009dab05, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

daily-watchlist CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Daily Watchlist Protocols

This file is the source protocol for the Daily Watchlist workflow. Hypothesis Tracker is bundled in this repository as the thesis/evidence layer.

The installer does not copy this file wholesale into the target workspace. Instead, it appends a short CLAUDE.md hint that points Claude Code to:

  • ./.claude/commands/dw-today.md
  • ./.claude/commands/dw-import.md
  • ./.claude/commands/ht-new.md
  • ./.claude/commands/ht-status.md
  • ./.claude/commands/ht-trade.md
  • ./.claude/skills/dw-today.md
  • ./.claude/skills/dw-import.md
  • ./.claude/skills/ht-new.md
  • ./.claude/skills/ht-status.md
  • ./.claude/skills/ht-trade.md
  • ./config/daily-watchlist.yaml
  • ./config/daily-watchlist-watchlist.md
  • ./config/hypothesis-tracker.yaml
  • ./config/hypothesis-tracker.rules.md
  • ./templates/daily-watchlist-report-template.md

Recommended commands:

  • /dw-today
  • /dw-import
  • /ht-new
  • /ht-status
  • /ht-trade

Compatibility aliases may still exist inside the skills, but they should not be the default recommendation in shared docs or injected workspace hints because they are more likely to conflict with other systems.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
