- Different response model — uses
WeatherResponsenotDataResponse. Weather isn't time-series-table-shaped; hascurrent,hourly,dailyinstead ofrecords. Documented exception to the uniform envelope. - Tool names diverge from sister pattern:
search_locations/describe_location/get_weather(instead of_datasets/_dataset/get_data). - Uses Open-Meteo, NOT direct BOM — BOM 403s non-browser User-Agents and has no documented commercial-use path below their $5k/yr Registered User Service.
- End-date in the past >5 days routes to Open-Meteo's historical archive (1940+); otherwise routes to forecast endpoint (today + 16 days).
