What is async reliability checklist?

A checklist for making asynchronous operations reliable. Asynchronous work finishes later, such as retries, webhooks, callbacks, payments, and queued messages.

Use it when building or reviewing retry logic, webhook handlers, payment flows, callbacks, and message delivery.

It helps prevent race conditions, duplicated actions, hidden failures, unbounded retries, and incorrect results from stale or partial data.
