model-economy: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

model-economy AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from BottleYo/model-economy. It costs 376 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for Model Economy, an open-source project that manages rules for choosing models and controlling their use. They define language, project boundaries, configuration rules, and required checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying the Model Economy code, documentation, configuration, lifecycle command-line tools, website, or plugin files, and when checking a change before submission.
Why use it?
They prevent contributors from making unsupported claims, changing protected data, or altering configuration without a migration plan. They also make the required verification steps explicit.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: reads ~/.codex or $CODEX_HOME, but also the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions AGENTS.md; mentions Codex.

This is BottleYo/model-economy's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on model-economy itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything model-economy configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00376 $0.00376
Opus 5 $0.00188 $0.00188
Sonnet 5 $0.00075 $0.00075
Haiku 4.5 $0.00038 $0.00038

Measured 6d ago against content hash 76ee229756ca, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

model-economy AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Model Economy

  • config.tomlstate.json schema 变更必须有独立设计与迁移计划。

验证

提交前至少运行:

python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v
python3 scripts/check_sensitive_content.py .
python3 /path/to/plugin-creator/scripts/validate_plugin.py plugins/model-economy
git diff --check

涉及站点、manifest、视觉资源或 CLI 时,必须同时更新对应契约测试。无法运行真实 Codex CLI 验收时,应明确记录环境原因,不得用静态测试替代身份验证结论。

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
