Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02299 | $0.02299 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01149 | $0.01149 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00460 | $0.00460 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00230 | $0.00230 |
Grade A, and why
evernote-mcp-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 149 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This is a local Evernote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects Claude Desktop with Evernote accounts. It provides read-only access to Evernote notes through MCP calls like createSearch, getNote, and getNoteContent. Version 2.0 includes production-ready containerization and enhanced MCP protocol compliance for both local stdin/stdout and remote HTTP/JSON-RPC integration.
Architecture
- Language: Node.js with Express framework
- Container base images: Red Hat Project Hummingbird Node.js images (quay.io/hummingbird/nodejs:latest-builder for build stage, quay.io/hummingbird/nodejs:latest for production)
- External services: Evernote API using OAuth 1.0a authentication
- Main entry point:
index.js- HTTPS server with OAuth integration - Authentication module:
auth.js- handles complete OAuth 1.0a flow - Authentication: OAuth 1.0a flow (NOT OAuth 2.0), tokens automatically persisted in .env file
- Security model: Read-only Evernote access, HTTPS-only server, no third-party data transmission except to Evernote
- MCP compliance: Implements both stdin/stdout MCP protocol (mcp-server.js) and HTTP/JSON-RPC remote server protocol (index.js /mcp endpoint)
- Dual integration modes: Local Claude Desktop integration via mcp-server.js or remote integration via HTTPS JSON-RPC at /mcp endpoint
Development Commands
Local Development
- Install dependencies:
npm install - Set environment variables: Add
EVERNOTE_CONSUMER_KEYandEVERNOTE_CONSUMER_SECRETto the.envfile (bothindex.jsandmcp-server.jsload.envvia dotenv) - Enable debug logging (optional):
export DEV_MODE=truefor detailed API request/response logging - Generate SSL certificates:
mkdir cert && openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:4096 -keyout cert/localhost.key -out cert/localhost.crt -days 365 -nodes -subj "/C=US/ST=Local/L=Local/O=Local/OU=Local/CN=localhost" - Run server:
npx node index.js(requires SSL certificates and Evernote API credentials)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
